Abstract Paintings
What I love about abstract painting is it gives both the artist and the viewer such freedom.
When working on a painting, I can get lost in the makingâĶallowing the painting to unfold and reveal itself, A strange push-me pull-me game where the materials take over and I respond freely putting down paint as I feel the painting desires.
For the viewer, the work has space for interpretation, connection and emotion. It is not prescriptive - there is room to breathe, to absorb and to feel.
